WHAT: This year’s Vacation Bible School theme is “Wake, Awake: Watching for Jesus.” This title comes from a beautiful hymn about the promise of Christ’s return and how God’s people prepare and watch for Him with joy and anticipation: “Wake, Awake, for Night Is Flying” (Lutheran Service Book 516). The VBS theme and contents are designed to share the hope-filled message that Jesus, who once came to this world to save us, will one day come again. This 4-day program will contain Bible stories, songs, crafts, games, and snacks.

WHEN: Tuesday, July 7 - Friday, July 10, from 9 am until 11:30

WHO: 4 year olds – entering 6th grade as of Fall 2026 from our Bethany Lutheran Church and School community. (NOTE: Bethany members younger than 4 are welcome to attend, but they should be accompanied by a parent/adult throughout the morning.)

COST: Free (However, to help offset some of our costs, we’ll be collecting a free-will offering at the door). Donations can be made upon drop-off during VBS week, or can be sent via Zelle to pkolzow@bethanylcs.org.)

On the last day of VBS, Friday, July 10, families are invited to stay for closing worship and a free pizza lunch and fellowship at 11:30! We welcome our incoming 7th graders through adults to volunteer in various capacities throughout the week.
