Being a parent in today’s world is tough. The devil, the world, and our sinful nature are all working and active among parents and children alike. The chief duty of a Christian parent (primarily the father) is to raise up his children in the instruction and fear of the Lord. Only in the Lord will Christian families find protection from the assaults of the devil. the world, and our sinful nature. Therefore, it is the duty of Christian parents (primarily the father) to read the Bible and pray with their children daily.
