In the Lord’s Supper we receive Christ’s Body and Blood, under bread and wine, for the forgiveness of sins, life and salvation. Those communing are giving public witness that they are one in doctrine. In loving obedience to this Scriptural teaching, we therefore invite communicant members of all congregations in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod to commune with us.
