Parish Education Opportunities

All Sunday Classes begin at 10:15 a.m.
Sunday School-
All children from age 2 (2 year-olds must attend with a parent) through grade 7 are invited to Sunday School at Bethany. The classes take place in our school wing and the grade levels are marked on the doorways. No pre-registration is necessary but if you have questions, feel free to stop in the church office at 10:15 a.m.
High School Bible Study
The High School Bible Study classes are led by Rev. Fisk and meet in the school library.
Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study Class
Sunday Morning Adult Bible Class meets at 10:15a.m. in the Parish Activity Center.
Tuesday Evening Teachings of the Lutheran Church
Pastor Rossow’s class on the Teachings of the Lutheran Church and the Scriptures meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study
There are two branches of the Wednesday Evening LifeLight Bible Study which meet with Pastor one week and in homes or coffee shops the next.
LifeLight for Women
Women’s Friday Morning Lifelight meets from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. For information on LifeLight contact Karen Perry at ksperry@wowway.com or call 630-904-1043. Books are available now in the church office.
Saturday Men’s Bible Breakfast
Pastor Schumacher teaches a Bible Study the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month in the multi-purpose room at 7:30 a.m. for men of all ages. On a typical Saturday, about eleven or so men gather for coffee, doughnuts, prayer and study. Men from their early 30’s to 80’s meet to grow in Christ and to build each other up. New members are warmly welcomed!
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Bible Study
LWML Bible Study meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the multi-purpose room. Contact Barb Etter (630-420-0626) or Ina Johnson (630-369-6074) for more information.
