Based on John Feirabend’s First Steps in Music curriculum, the early childhood music education program exposes children to music at a very young (6 months - 4 years). The Naperville Youth Symphony Orchestra (NYSO) offers orchestral performance opportunities for young musicians seeking to enhance and grow their musical experience. NYSO rehearses and concertizes in Naperville and welcomes all interested young musicians in the surrounding areas, 5th through 12th grade, to audition and participate in this exciting opportunity. The Bethany Lutheran Schola Cantorum, Latin for "Singing School", is a choir school for boys and girls ages 5-18. Modeled after the ancient European choir schools, this program teaches music literacy, good vocal habits, knowledge of repertoire, and liturgical formation through a structured framework based upon the highly acclaimed Voice for Life designed by the Royal School of Church Music.
